Who We Are

We are Pentecostals of Bastrop

Welcome!

Originally the Bastrop United Pentecostal Church, we have been in the Bastrop, TX community since 1945. Pastor Grady Chandler and his wife Judy Chandler were voted into office in May of 2000 and soon after renamed the church “The Pentecostals of Bastrop”. After years of being located at 1902 Chestnut Street, the need arose for a larger more modern church facility. The church built a wonderful facility and in 2010 moved to its current location at 261 FM 20.

We are

A Beacon of Salvation

We exist to be a beacon of salvation and righteousness in the Bastrop, TX community. God has called us to be a bright light that shows forth His love, grace, and power. The Pentecostals of Bastrop is a church where miracles happen: the miracles of restored lives, healed bodies, renewed minds, and mended hearts. We look forward to worshipping with you soon!

Mission & Vision

Our Mission
We equip the saints through Biblical teaching, practical principles, through evangelism, Church Growth, with Spiritual Authority. Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; & some, prophets; & some, evangelists & some, pastors & teachers. 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, & of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
Vision
Where There Is No Vision...The People Perish - Proverbs 29:18 Our Vision is to allow the will of the God to remain, that JESUS CHRIST being our absolute LORD, and His Spirit being our Great Guide. “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1 John 2:17
